Village Planting Day – Dinton Daffodil Project
The lovely village of Dinton is hosting a village daffodil planting day on Saturday 2 October.
The team will be meeting at the Dinton Recreation Ground at 10am and will be planting daffodil bulbs around the village so please come along to join in.
Little Clarendon in Dinton was home to George Engleheart, a famous daffodil breeder from 1901 to his death in 1936. 
During his life Engleheart created more than 700 varieties of daffodils. As a village we have raised £750 to buy heritage Engleheart daffodils and we will be holding a village daffodil planting day on the 2nd October.
