You can choose to camp next to our Alpacas! or high up on the hillside with beautiful views of the rolling hills (pictured left), close to the outdoor facilities or by the pond or in the new woodland. There are plenty of spaces to choose from and also plenty of spaces to leave your car. With the lack of light pollution here it means that on a clear sky at night you can see thousands of stars. It is a romantic setting, with space to breath, take time out and relax.
There are 2 outdoor toilets with sinks and running water (outdoor pitched trailer). There are also 2 warm showers. There are lovely walks amongst the hills, along bridleways and public footpaths. You can walk to the airfield, which is a mile away and have a meal or drink at the tea rooms or restaurant there. Dogs are welcome on site, as long as they are good off the lead (due to livestock).
There is plenty of space and privacy to camp – people say that it is a unique campsite, where you have complete privacy, complete peace and quiet with amazing views.
There is also a supermarket 1 and half miles away to buy provisions, where campers are free to have an outdoor fire in the firepit, if fully attended to.
We offer a minimum stay of 2 nights for tent at £10 per pitch per night. There are up to approx 20 pitches on site (but only 2 toilets and 2 warm showers). Caravans are also welcome at £20 per night. There is a disposal unit for waste (from the caravan toilet).
