Cranborne Chase National Landscape – ‘Working with you to keep this living landscape special’
Are you creative, imaginative with a passion for engaging people with the countryside and beautiful landscapes? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
Cranborne Chase National Landscape (CCNL) is looking for a Communications Officer who can regularly update our web site, compile and send engaging regular newsletters/bulletins, update SM channels and find imaginative ways to reach different audiences. The team has a multitude of work underway focussing on nature recovery, our International Dark Sky Reserve, working with farmers, walking, cycling, historic heritage and engaging communities near and far in a variety of exciting, hands-on projects. You’d also compile ‘The Hart’ magazine each year for distribution to residents and businesses, assist in the organisation of events and lead in producing a variety of literature and displays.
A strong interest in countryside, landscape and communities will be essential as will technical abilities, such as how to engage with ‘hard to reach’ audiences, experience in compiling film/video footage along with proven knowledge of IT programmes (Canva, Mailchimp, databases etc).
The new Officer will be expected to primarily work from our office to fully understand, and become immersed in, the multi-disciplinary nature of the team’s work. If you’d like to play a key role on the work of Cranborne Chase National Landscape, then we’d love to hear from you.
