Anne joins the Cranborne Chase National Landscape team under the Chase & Chalke Partnership to manage the scheme extension until June 2025.
Having previously worked for Lancashire Wildlife Trust, Oldham and Rochdale Groundwork Trust and the Rural Community Council for Hampshire, Anne joined the National Landscape team in 2005 as the Community Engagement Officer. In this role Anne worked on a range of projects including the Parish Archive Project which was funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. As the Funding and Partnerships Officer for the National Landscape, Anne submitted the successful first-round bid for the Chase & Chalke Landscape Partnership Scheme and the rest is history as they say.
Anne took a short leave of absence from working for the National Landscape to manage the Stonehenge and Avebury World Heritage Site Partnership but is really glad to be back as part of the National Landscape team.
“Having been instrumental in putting the scheme together it has been a privilege to watch how the words on the page have been translated into amazing projects that so many people have engaged with over the last five years and how the heritage of the Chase & Chalke area is getting the recognition that it deserves. It is the team’s job now to ensure that the scheme leaves an enduring legacy.”
In her spare time Anne enjoys photography, gardening and walking. All three grown-up children live abroad so some travelling also has to be factored in.
