What do you do at the Chase & Chalke Partnership team?
I am the Digital Communication and Engagement Officer – I work across digital platforms to reach out to people about the Chase & Chalke Landscape Partnership and our activities.
Sounds really interesting – what does that involve?
My work involves using social media, email and the web to reach people and talk about our projects and activities. I also work with graphics and photography to bring our projects to life online. I also assist the team with running our public engagement activities at events and help to develop strategies to engage communities with our Scheme.
What do you do when you’re not working for the Scheme?
When I’m not working for the Scheme I spend my time out and about exploring the country side and attending local fetes and festivals. I also work as an artist and create paintings with historical and natural themes. I enjoy reading and studying, and I have a passion for medieval history.
What’s the best thing about working here?
The best thing about working with the Chase & Chalke Landscape Partnership is the delivery of our wonderful projects that help to connect people with the stunning landscape around us.
Tell me something surprising about yourself.
I love owning dwarf hamsters, and my current pet hamster is called Chaucer.
