All Day
Find out about life in our chalk streams. Join our volunteers to survey a river habitat with our partners from the Wessex Rivers Trust, Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group South West.
You’ll be looking at river habitats through a ‘Modular River Physical Survey’, including aquatic plants (macrophytes – which are aquatic plants that can be seen with the naked eye) and fixed point photography surveys and training.
This is part of our Crystal Clear Ebble project – to join the day, please get in touch with Roland Hughes, our volunteer co-ordinator at rolandhughes@cranbornechase.org.uk who will explain all!
Find out how to join our team of volunteers on our Chase & Chalke Volunteering page.
