Discover hands-on Stone Age themed activities at our free drop-in Activities Day!
At Sixpenny Handley Village Hall, SP5 5NJ

Celebrate and discover one of the most mysterious ancient sites – the Dorset Curcus. This earthwork is the longest Neolithic monument in the UK, stretching 10km across Cranborne Chase National Landscape. It is very mysterious because no-one knows exactly what it was used for or why it was built.

Activities will be run between 10am – 4pm.

We will also be providing some cake and cups of tea on a first come first served basis!

We will also be showcasing our LiDAR portal if you would like to have a look. This interactive portal displays scanned landscape mapping so we can explore the landscape in fine detail and look for possible archaeological monuments and structures.

Tickets are FREE but booking is essential due to limited numbers.
