Win Green

Details

At 277 metres, Win Green is the highest point in Cranborne Chase National Landscape.

Up by the beech clump on Win Green you are on the very roof of Wiltshire. Gazing round over an 80-mile view, on a clear day you can spot the Needles at the Isle of Wight in the south-east, to the round brows of the Quantock Hills far in the north-west.

Woods, fields, ridges, villages and houses and wide panoramic views are a key feature of this viewpoint.

There is free parking at the top of Win Green managed by the National Trust.
